In august, rain volumes may remain inside the expected

Very little variation, considering the climate logical numbers, are expected in this month

There was no rain in most os Brazil’s Central area. At the South region, the rain volumes varied between 100 and 250 millimeters. The north region of Amazonas and Pará, with Roraima and Amapá, had more expressive rain volumes, ranged from 200 to 350 millimeters.

At the Nordeste’s coast, with Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo, the rain volume achieved 150 millimeters maximum and 25 millimeters minimum.

If we look at period anomalies, there was a rain volumes ranging from 25 to 100 millimeters at the South region from Brazil, with the exception of Rio Grande do Sul’s west and Paraná’s north.

Acre, Roraima, Amapá, Amazonas’s South, Pará’s North and Maranhão had rain volumes that varied 25 to 200 millimeters below the expected for the month.

In august, there may be a concentration of the rains in Roraima, Amapá, Amazonas’s North, Paraná’s South, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, ranging between 80 and 230 millimeters.

At the country’s other areas, the rain volume may not overcome 40 millimeters.

In general, the rain volumes may remain at the expected number for august, with Only 50 millimeters positve or negative variations.
